We get our Organic Brown Long Grain Rice from Tootsi Impex. Brown long grain rice is whole grain, unrefined rice that has its germ and bran intact, adding flavour and nutritional value. Nutty in flavour, brown rice is tender yet chewier in texture over white rice. For every cup of rice, add 1 ½ cups of water. Brown rice cooks in approximately 30 minutes; ideal for cooking or baking applications.
